Cadets gain real-world experience after saving boaters who had been adrift in the Gulf Mexico for 15 days.

During his senior year of high school in Orange, Texas, Camron Chueca ’24 planned to attend Texas A&M University in College Station for his bachelor’s degree after receiving a letter of acceptance into the university.

Tally, a Kemp’s ridley sea turtle, arrived in Texas yesterday and will be released next week by the Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research after completing a transatlantic journey courtesy of several international partners and volunteers.
