Keeping Rhythm on the Sea: A History of Sea Shanties
Texas A&M University at Galveston opened a new exhibit called Keeping Rhythm on the Sea: A History of Sea Shanties. Sea shanties were work songs to accompany labor and coordinated shipboard tasks on wind-driven seagoing ships. The exhibit will run through December 15 at the Jack K. Williams Library.
